The University of Burgos (UBU) is a medium-sized public university located in Burgos, Castilla y León (Spain). Established in 1994, UBU is a young university; with over 7,500 students at 7 centres. Among its strategic objectives are internationalization and quality in education, research and knowledge transfer. UBU has 87 research groups in 5 main research fields (Sciences, Social sciences, Engineering-Construction, Humanities & Health sciences) with consolidated prestige in research and scientific publications. According to BBVA´s Foundation U-Ranking 2020, UBU ranks sixth among the 84 Spanish universities for its research and innovation performance indicators.
