CoLLaboratE in the workshop for the future of industrial collaborative robots

The CoLLaboratE project was invited by the Eropean Commission to participate in the “Workshop on the Future of Industrial collaborative Robotics”.

Fotis Dimeas from AUTH represented the project and presented an overview of our vision. He then had the chance to discuss with the participants about the challenges in physical human-robot interaction for industrial applications.

This workshop was as part of a study of EC to assess the impacts of H2020 projects in Robotics. The results will be reported this September at the European Research and Innovation Days.

Besides CoLLaboratE, the following sister projects participated that share some common objectives: Coroma, Sharework, Sherlock, Thomas, Rossini, HR-Recycler, Symbiotic.

This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 820767.
